First watch and follow along with Sheena from the tutorial. In the previous lesson we covered how to move the hips. Now we will show you how to properly move the arms while doing the basic step.
TIP: The arm movement comes from the elbows and not the wrists.
TIP: The arms always move in a contrary motion to your hips. For example if your hips are moving to the left than your arms will move to the right. If your hips move to the right than the arms move to the left.
PRACTICE: Moving the arms and the hips together can be challenging to coordinate. Make sure you're comfortable with the hips before moving on to practicing with the arms.
